STETSON SEAT

Personal Project
This original design was crafted by myself and executed under the guidance of David Upfill-Brown at the Centre for Fine Woodworking in Nelson, NZ. It was exhibited at The Refinery ArtSpace as part of the 2019 end of year show.
Hand selected straight grain American Ash is laminated to create the hoop then captured within a tapered, coopered seat base. Seat base is hand shaped with transitioning bevel edges.
