Personal Project
This original design was crafted by myself and executed under the guidance of Reed Hansuld at the Centre for Fine Woodworking in Nelson, NZ. It was exhibited at The Refinery ArtSpace as part of the 2019 end of year show.
Hand selected straight grain American White Oak is coopered for the seat and back. Jutted legs and side stretchers are bridle joints, flanked by wedges and captured within the seat base.
